Ara C. Trembly, M.S., M.A., ACHt.   His background includes graduate study in psychology at New York University and Rutgers.  He holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University and a Master's Degree in Communication from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Mr. Trembly is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia, and is a Board-Certified Hypnotherapist (International Hypnosis Federation).  He is also a Christian counselor (member, American Association of Christian Counselors), writer, consultant and highly experienced public speaker.   Mr. Trembly was also  an adjunct faculty member of Philadelphia Biblical University's (now Cairn University) Institute of Higher Learning.

What About Insurance?

As a Professional Counselor, Ara takes a number of health insurances, so please contact us to see if your insurance fits.  If not, we also offer a sliding scale rate fee based on proof of income. 

If hypnotherapy is right for you, check with your insurance provider to see if hypnosis is covered as a service.  Even if coverage is not available, however, hypnosis programs are available at a reasonable cost and on a sliding scale based on your income.

God and Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a safe and effective treatment for a variety of emotional and medical conditions, but there are some who claim it is an activity forbidden in holy scripture. 

Actually, there is no such prohibition anywhere in the Bible.  Many who insist that hypnosis is forbidden are under the mistaken impression that being in hypnosis means giving up your free will and/or opening yourself up to evil influences.  They also place hypnosis in the same "basket" as magic and witchcraft. 

These are unfortunate and untrue characterizations that can easily be dispelled by research (see our FAQ) and/or speaking with a certified hypnotist about any issues of concern.  Persons with a strong moral compass will continue to be guided by their own beliefs, even under hypnosis.  If you'd like to know more about this, contact us online or call 904-347-5677--or consult the web resource below.
